It has a unique barb and loop design that accelerates closure by removing the need to tie any knots which saves 35-42% of the intracorporeal suturing time. The Sutures reduces the challenge of maintaining the adequate tension of the suture strength. This device is great for soft tissue approximation where absorbable sutures are appropriate.
