- Accutest H. pylori Urease Test is intended for the qualitative detection of the urease enzyme in gastric mucosal biopsy specimens for the presumptive determination of Helicobacter pylori in symptomatic adult patients
- Biopsy testing using rapid urease is considered to be the “Gold Standard%XE2%X80? for detecting active H. pylori infections
- No refrigeration required means the test kit can be stored at room temperature
- Positive results in as little as 1 minute
- Negative results in 1 hour
- Dry Test means there is no incubation or reagents required
- The usual area to biopsy is the sump of the antrum, along the greater curve
