As a surgical hand antisepsis/hand scrub, Alcare OR Foamed Antiseptic Handrub is FDA-compliant. The handrub meets the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) criteria for a surgical hand antisepsis/hand scrub at all time points. This product's formulation of ethyl alcohol and emollients provides both hand antisepsis and moisturization. Alcare OR Foamed Antiseptic Handrub can be used for hand antisepsis in the operating room, critical care patient care units, and general patient care units as referenced in the Guideline for Hand Hygiene in Health-Care Settings.
