- The gen2™ hybrid ink acts as an epidermal laminate that adheres to the skin rather than penetrates into it.
- There is no loss of epidermal integrity and no undesirable inflammatory reaction.
- This marking technology is resistant to all skin preps, including chlorhexidine preps and extended alcohol scrubs.
- Unlike the other prep resistant inks, erroneous markings made with the gen2 ink can be removed with a nail polish remover wipe* and the marking correctly replaced.
- Easy to use - Crush Ampoule and gently squeeze to express ink to tip; Apply very light application to mark surgical site**; Allow to dry for at least 10 seconds.
- Ampoule should be discarded immediately after use.
- Ink dries very quickly so repeated applications of ink cannot be made
