Z-Flo™ is a fluidized positioner that can be micro-contoured to any infant with any medical condition and any medical equipment. It is not a simple mattress surface. Empirically, therapeutic positioning on Z-Flo™ has been clinically observed to benefit neuromotor development, energy conservation, skin integrity and sleep. Z-Flo™ neonatal positioners are available as small utility pads, full body positioners, and a tube for circumferential support. All sizes can be purchased individually or combined into custom kits, which generally last for the entire admission if a baby goes home by the due date. Positioner preference varies based on clinician experience and infant needs/acuity.
