    Autoclavable Biohazardous Waste Bags are built to withstand the rigors of Steam Sterilization while meeting the requirements for the collection, storage, transport, and processing of biohazardous waste within the acute care facility. Autoclavable bags made from high strength Polypropylene (PP) Film have an operating temperature of 274°F (134°C) and can tolerate temperatures of up to 285°F (140°C). High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Film Autoclavable bags have an operating temperature of 250°F (120°C) and can tolerate temperatures of up to 260°F (127°C). Bags contain an integral steam processing indicator that turns brown when autoclaved. • Steam indicator identifies processed versus unprocessed bags to help reduce risk of cross-contamination from infectious waste handling. • Constructed of High Strength Polypropylene for maximum performance. Eliminates Double Bagging Procedure to reduce cost and labor. • Welded Seams increase durability to resist punctures, tears and leaks. • Biohazardous or Infectious labeling in both English and Spanish or French. • International Biohazard Symbol in easy to see contrasting color. • Meets 165 gram Dart Impact Resistance Test. • Available in several color-coded styles for easy identification by department. • Twist Ties included for easy securement.
