      We employ the most advanced lamps used for backlighting in LCD displays. Our EEFL have several technical advantages over traditional CCFL lamps. One advantage: 2 ½ times longer expected life!
    • Superior Luminance and Uniformity
      The TrueVue series provides a luminance of 3,500 cd/m2 and a uniformity greater than 90%. These two features provide an environment for more accurate film reading and more detailed interpretation.
    • Blue Light is better for XRay Films
      The TrueVue’s backlight technology produces the highest daylight color temperature: a blue light. T h i s b l u e - t y p e l a m p improves contrast when reading black and white xray films.
    • Flicker free - No eye strain
      Our EEFL eliminates the eye strain associated with typical fluorescent lamps. With a cycle rate of 40,000 times per second, the human eye will perceive the TrueVue system as flicker-free and you will be provided with a more comfortable reading experience over a longer period of time.
    • Independent Lighting System
      Each 14” x 17” (35 x 43 cm) “bank” has separate on/off and dimming controls.* Each bank is provided with a film activated switch for more efficient reading.
    • Elegant and Slim Design
      The TrueVue series has an elegant and modern style housed in an attractive metallic silver/black finish. Best of all, the TrueVue is only 1 ½”(3.9 cm) thick.
    • * “Stock” units are equipped with on/off and dimming controls. Each bank also has a film activated switch. Units can be special ordered without dimming and/or without film activated switches.
