Bladder ultrasounds provide a wealth of information and benefit patients in incontinence treatment programs. They are used to help patients relearn the sensation of a full bladder, regulate toileting schedules, and reduce the need for catheterization. A tissue equivalent bladder ultrasound phantommimics a real bladder for calibration testing and training purposes. New users can practice on the latex-free simulated "bladder" to familiarize themselves with proper scanning techniques and readings; any user may utilize it as a known measurement in testing newly calibrated devices for accuracy.
